Knight Nation he’s back!!! Scott Frost has hired McKenzie Milton as UCF’s quarterback coach. McKenzie led the Knights to back-to-back undefeated seasons in 2017 and 2018. I remember welcoming College Gameday to campus, the roar in the stadium, and the Bounce House was bouncing like we had never experienced - it was the Glory Days for UCF... But, it was at the end of the 2018 season we played USF, and McKenzie suffered a near career-ending leg injury - when McKenzie went down you could hear a pin drop in the stadium. The entire place was silent, we couldn’t believe what just happened. McKenzie defied all odds and ended up transferring to FSU to play his final season and went on to coach at the University of Tennessee.
To say I’m excited to have Coach Frost and McKenzie Milton back would be an understatement! Counting down the days until our Knights are back in the Bounce House!
“UCF holds such a special place in my heart, and to return as quarterbacks coach is truly an honor. I couldn’t be more excited to work alongside Coach Frost, who has been such a pivotal figure in my career. I can’t wait to help develop the next generation of Knights and build on the incredible tradition of success we’ve established here at UCF.” -McKenzie Milton
